Suitable for solid fuel and gas/oil appliances such as woodstoves, gas coal effect fires, and boilers, this wall sleeve is constructed with an outer skin of 304 grade stainless steel and an inner skin of 316 grade stainless steel, both 0.4mm thick. The insulation comprises compressed rockwool at a density of 200kg/m3 TWPro and 128Kg/m3 KC. Fully welded for durability, it maintains an essential 50mm distance from combustibles in TWPro and 60mm in KC applications. CE marked and HETAS approved, it meets the stringent standards EN1856-1 T600 N1 W V2 L50040 G50 and more. Installation is streamlined via a Locking Band, ensuring secure assembly. For those installing through an exterior wall at 45 degrees, taper-cutting the sleeve ensures a flush fit, easily achieved with a grinder or hacksaw. Fill the gap between the flue and sleeve with Rockwool for optimal protection.
