VIT-Smooth - Adjustable Wall Bracket - Ø 200mm

The VIT-Smooth Adjustable Wall Bracket Ø 200mm is expertly designed to provide lateral support to your flue system by securely fastening the connecting pipe to the wall. It’s ideal for a variety of applications including gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances that operate at temperatures up to 600°C. Constructed from premium zero-carbon steel with a durable powder vitreous enamel coating in matt black, the VIT-Smooth bracket ensures longevity and reliable performance. Please note, this bracket is not load-bearing and should only be utilised for lateral support.When installing the VIT-Smooth pipe, ensure it is positioned properly with the smaller diameter pointing downward to retain condensates within the flue. It’s recommended that VIT-Smooth is installed at least 375mm away from combustible materials such as wood or plasterboard. This friction-fit system eliminates the need for sealants, although a jointing compound can be used for added security. The pipes can be cut to size, but care must be taken to protect the exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. PPE is advised during installation.For proper maintenance, regular sweeping of chimneys used with solid fuel appliances is necessary, at least once a year. VIT-Smooth pipes with access doors ease inspection and cleaning, especially at directional changes.
