It protects the flashing from extreme weather conditions and should be installed approximately 25mm above the tallest part of the flashing. For complete water-tightness, apply a bead of silicone around the top edge and the flue once the storm collar is secured.

Its construction features an outer skin made from 304-grade stainless steel and an inner skin crafted from 316-grade stainless steel, both 0.4mm thick. The insulation is made from compressed rockwool, providing unmatched thermal resistance with a density of 200kg/m3 TWPro and 128Kg/m3. This accessory is fully welded to ensure durability and a snug fit. The necessary distance to combustibles is 50mm for TWPro and 60mm for KC, making it a safe choice for any chimney setup. TWPro is HETAS approved and CE marked, adhering to the highest standards outlined in several EN1856-1 designations. Installation is straightforward, involving the use of a Locking Band to secure the twin wall insulated chimney parts.
