Designed to withstand temperatures up to 600°C, the Top Hat Adaptor is suitable for use with a variety of appliances including those burning wood with less than 20% moisture content, smokeless coal, gas, and oil. Installation complies with Building Regulations Document J, requiring that flexible flue liners are completely enclosed within a masonry chimney, with no flexible flue on show. Featuring a square cover plate, it ensures a gas-tight seal and seamless transition from the connecting flue to the flexible liner, enhancing both performance and safety. Easy maintenance and cleaning ensure the system remains efficient, with annual sweeping recommended for solid fuel systems.
