The Seldek Aluminium Pitched (Silicone) Flashing is expertly designed for tiled roofs, accommodating external pipe diameters ranging from 150mm to 280mm (6 to 11 inches). The pitched design reduces distortion of the cone when installed on steeper roof pitches, providing a secure and weatherproof seal. The flashing is easy to install, featuring a pull-tab design that allows you to adjust the size using pliers or a Stanley knife. Once the correct size is achieved, applying silicone sealant to the back enhances its adherence. The installation process involves removing tiles around the pipe, sliding the flashing over it, fastening the flashing to the roof, and cutting tiles to fit snugly around the flashing base.
