The chimney must be weatherproof and structurally sound before installation, with all pots in good condition and appropriate flaunching at the top of the stack. The Pot Hanging bracket allows the MI-FLEX liner to be installed without removing the pot, making it ideal for scenarios requiring 3rd party terminal fittings or open termination. Regular maintenance, including at least annual sweeping and inspection, ensures longevity and safety. For solid fuel applications, twice-yearly sweeping is recommended, with guidance available from HETAS registered sweeps.
