Constructed from zero carbon steel with a durable vitreous enamel coating in a sleek matt black finish, the MI-VIT Lite Screw Support Bracket not only performs well but looks good too.When using the MI-VIT Lite pipe as a connecting piece between your appliance and flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, it's crucial to ensure it's installed correctly. The smaller diameter should always point downward to keep condensates within the flue system. This friction fit joint system eliminates the need for seals in high-temperature installations, although seals are required for positive pressure pellet applications (P1).The MI-VIT Lite Screw Support Bracket is designed to be secured to brick walls, providing a non-load-bearing, lateral support. It's important to keep any piece of the MI-VIT Lite pipe at least 375mm away from combustible materials such as wood or plasterboard. Installing the MI-VIT Lite correctly prevents rust by covering any exposed steel with high-temperature paint.Regular maintenance of the chimney and flue system is paramount, especially for solid fuel appliances.
