When dealing with high-temperature installations (up to T600), the friction fit joint does not require sealing. For P1 pressure applications, seals must be used at every joint. This pipe also comes with a clamp for secure attachment. It is advised not to cut the pipe; if necessary, protect any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Routine maintenance is crucial, especially for solid fuel appliances.
