For installations requiring pressure ratings, the MI-VIT Lite achieves a P1 rating up to 200°C when sealed appropriately. It's important to note that this adaptor should not pass through combustible materials and must be installed with at least a 375mm clearance from such materials. Designed for a friction fit, this adaptor doesn't require joint sealing under high temperature installations, but seals are necessary for pellet installations where positive pressure is present (P1 applications). For added convenience, the MI-VIT Lite can be cut to size, with exposed steel being treated with high temperature paint to prevent rust.
