The MI-VIT Lite 45° Bend - Ø 150mm is a crucial component for connecting gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances to your main flue system. Engineered from zero carbon steel and finished with a durable vitreous enamel coating in sleek matt black, this single-skin flue pipe withstands temperatures up to 600°C. It’s a friction fit joint system that doesn’t require sealing for T600 installations but can achieve a P1 pressure rating with seals up to temperatures of 200°C. Not designed for passing through ceilings or combustible walls, the MI-VIT Lite is suitable solely as a connecting pipe. Proper maintenance and cleaning, particularly for solid fuel applications, ensure longevity and optimal performance. National Flues recommends at least an annual check and clean of the chimney, employing access doors at directional changes for ease.
