MI-VIT Lite - 45° Bend - Ø 125

The MI-VIT Lite - 45° Bend - Ø 125mm is an essential component for efficient and safe chimney flue systems. Constructed from zero carbon steel with a durable vitreous enamel coating in matt black, this single skin pipe boasts resilience and performance. Designed specifically for use as a connecting pipe between your appliance and flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system, it is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C.Important considerations include not using the MI-VIT Lite pipe for passing through ceilings or combustible walls. When installed with a seal, a P1 pressure rating can be achieved at a working temperature of up to 200°C (T200). Installation requires the pipe to be oriented correctly, with the smaller diameter pointing downward to ensure that condensates stay inside the flue system. For T600 high temperature applications, sealing of the joints isn't necessary due to the friction fit joint. However, for pellet installations where positive pressure (P1 applications) is present, seals must be applied to every joint.When cutting the pipe, it's crucial to coat any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Always wear appropriate PPE during installation. For maintenance, incorporate access doors at directional changes for easy inspection and cleaning, especially for solid fuel applications. Regular sweeping and maintenance are recommended, ideally at least once a year.
