This connecting pipe is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances, supporting temperatures as high as 600°C. The single-skin MI-Pellet pipe features a durable construction of zero carbon steel with a vitreous enamel coating for a sleek, matt black finish. While ideally used as a connecting pipe between your appliance and the Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System, it should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible materials. Installation is straightforward, but take care not to place the MI-Pellet within 375mm of any combustible material. The pipe's friction fit joint means no sealing is required for T600 installations, but for P1 positive pressure applications, seals must be applied at every joint. Maintenance is simplified with recommended installation of access doors at directional changes, enabling easy inspection and cleaning. Particularly for solid fuel systems, yearly sweeping is advised.
