Ensuring compliance with Building Regulations Document J, it allows for safe operation when the flue liner is enclosed within masonry chimneys. The integrated rain cap and bird guard protect against water ingress and bird entry, adding to the system’s longevity and efficiency. When installing, ensure the chimney pot is in excellent condition, free from cracks, with proper flaunching at the stack's top. For maintenance, it is crucial to have a competent person sweep the chimney at least once a year, ideally twice if using solid fuel.
