Ideal for use with wood (<20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances, it meets Building Regulations Document J standards and is suitable for temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation). This hanging cowl not only supports the chimney liner but also integrates a rain cap and bird guard to protect against water ingress and vermin. Secure it to the flue liner easily using the standard jubilee fixing method. Regular maintenance of the chimney system is recommended, and cleaning should be carried out by a competent person, with chimneys serving solid fuel appliances being swept at least twice a year.
