Engineered for use with multi-fuel flexible flue liners, it complies with Building Regulations Document J, requiring installation within a masonry chimney. This product is suitable for high-temperature applications, withstanding up to 600°C (T600 designation), and can be used with wood (<20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances. Designed to prevent water, vermin, or birds from entering the flue, it is crucial when your appliance lacks a condense drain. The pot hanging cowl not only supports the flue liner's vertical weight but also ensures the chimney structure is sound and the chimney pots are intact. Complying with the latest BSEN standards, it features an integrated rain cap and bird guard. Easy to install with the standard jubilee fixing method, it offers enhanced rain protection and bird prevention without removing the chimney pot. For maintenance, ensure easy access for sweeping and inspection, which should occur at least once yearly.
