The gather hood is suitable for appliances operating up to 600°C and can be used with wood (less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil. To secure the hood, provisions must be made to ensure a gas-tight seal using fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealant.
