Not only does it provide an increase of 25mm from the single wall to the flexible flue liner, but it also guarantees a gas-tight seal when used with appropriate sealants like fire cement, ceramic rope, or high-temperature sealant. This adaptor is suitable for use with high-temperature appliances up to 600°C and is compliant with Building Regulations Document J. Perfect for wood (with less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances. For effective installation, it must be used within a masonry chimney, ensuring no exposed flex. Additionally, the system must be designed for easy sweeping and maintenance, which should be carried out by competent professionals at least once a year for all fuels, and twice for solid fuels.
