This gather hood meets those standards and is suitable for use with wood (with less than 20% moisture), smokeless coal, gas, and oil appliances, supporting temperatures up to 600°C (T600 designation). Installation is straightforward: the gather hood attaches itself at the base and top of the chimney chamber, securing into the brickwork with metal flaps. For optimal performance and to ensure a gas-tight seal, use fire cement, ceramic rope, tape, or high-temperature sealant at the connection points.
