Suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures up to 600°C, this single-skin connecting flue system is built from zero carbon steel for outstanding durability. Do note that the EuroSW1 should not be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.For installation, ensure this flue section is kept at least 540mm from any combustible materials such as wood or plasterboard. Proper installation is crucial, with the smaller diameter end always pointing downward to keep condensates within the system. Its friction-fit joint design means no sealing is required, but for added security, jointing compounds like fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used. Make sure to cover any cut sections with high-temperature paint to protect against rust.The EuroSW1 is also designed for easy maintenance, with provisions for inspecting and cleaning, particularly in solid-fuel applications. It’s recommended to have your chimney swept at least once a year if it’s serving a solid fuel appliance. With an access door, cleaning and inspections become hassle-free.
