The EuroSW1 Base Support Ø 200mm is designed to offer sturdy and reliable support for connecting pipes in your flue system. Suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances operating at temperatures up to 600°C, this product stands out for its robust construction and efficiency. Crafted from zero carbon steel, the EuroSW1 is intended to be a connecting pipe between your appliance and Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. It's important to note that it shouldn’t be used to pass through ceilings or combustible walls. When it comes to installation, the EuroSW1 must be set up at least 600mm away from any combustible materials like wood or plasterboards. Ensure the pipe is positioned correctly with the smaller diameter pointing downward to keep all condensates within the flue system. This EuroSW1 base support features a friction fit joint, eliminating the need for joint sealing, although a jointing compound such as fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant can be used for additional security. The product is cuttable, but remember to coat exposed steel with high temperature paint to prevent rusting.Maintenance is straightforward, with provisions for inspecting and cleaning the chimney. This is essential for solid fuel applications. Adding a EuroSW1 with access doors at direction changes makes this process easier. Regular chimney sweeping is recommended, at least once a year, to keep the system in optimal condition. Proper PPE should be worn during installation to ensure safety.
