Made from high-quality zero carbon steel, this single skin connecting flue is suitable for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances with temperatures reaching up to 600°C. It’s crucial to note that EuroSW1 is designed exclusively for connection purposes and should not pass through ceilings or combustible walls. Proper installation entails ensuring the smaller diameter points downwards to retain condensates within the system. While the friction fit joints need no sealing, you can apply high-temperature silicone sealant for added security. Additionally, any exposed steel from cuts should be covered with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting. Regular maintenance, particularly for solid fuel systems, is recommended to keep your chimney in top condition.
