The EuroSW1 Adaptor Female-Female Ø125mm is a robust and reliable connecting pipe suitable for a variety of heating appliances, including gas, oil, and solid fuel systems. Engineered to withstand temperatures up to 600°C, this adaptor should be used as a connecting pipe between your appliance and Flue Liner, Chimney Stack, or Twin Wall Flue System. Please note, it is not designed to pass through ceilings or combustible walls.Constructed from zero carbon steel, the EuroSW1 is a single skin connecting flue system that ensures a tight, friction fit. When installed correctly with the smaller diameter pointing downward, it keeps condensates within the flue system, avoiding unsightly leaks. While the friction fit is usually sufficient, you can add an extra layer of security with fire cement or high-temperature silicone sealant to ensure no condensate escapes.It is important to maintain a clearance of 375mm from any combustible materials during installation to enhance safety. Additionally, the EuroSW1 can be cut to size, but exposed steel must be treated with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time.Maintenance is straightforward but crucial, especially for solid fuel applications. Ensure regular sweeping and inspection of the chimney, ideally once a year, to maintain optimal performance.
