Installation is straightforward but requires precautions, such as keeping the pipe at least 450mm away from combustible materials and ensuring the smaller diameter faces downwards for proper condensate collection. Although the joints are friction fit, we recommend using a jointing compound for added security. Maintenance is simple and imperative, particularly for solid fuel applications, where regular chimney sweeps should be conducted at least once a year.
