The EuroSW1 30° Elbow Ø 175mm is designed to provide a reliable and durable connection for gas, oil, and solid fuel appliances that operate at temperatures up to 600°C. Manufactured from zero carbon steel, this single-skin connecting pipe ensures long-lasting performance. It should be used exclusively as a connecting pipe between your appliance and your flue liner, chimney stack, or twin wall flue system. It is not suitable for passing through ceilings or combustible walls.When installing the EuroSW1 175mm, ensure it is positioned correctly with the smaller diameter pointing downward to keep condensates contained within the flue system. The friction fit joint eliminates the need for sealing, although a jointing compound can be used for added security. Care must be taken when cutting the pipe to cover any exposed steel with high-temperature paint to prevent rusting over time.Proper maintenance is essential, especially for solid fuel applications. Inspect and clean the chimney regularly, at least once a year, to maintain optimal performance. Install access doors at changes of direction to facilitate inspections and cleaning.
