Before using this method, it is essential to conduct a smoke test on the existing clay liner to ensure it's in good condition. Constructed from 1mm thick stainless steel grade 316, this adaptor is built for durability and corrosion resistance. The clay end of the adaptor is tapered for a secure internal fit, accommodating the natural irregularities of clay liners. To achieve a proper seal, use Fire Cement and Fire Rope around the clay liner. Secure the adaptor using stainless screws to prevent corrosion, and finish by applying the single wall pipe over the spigot, sealing with Fire Cement and/or Fire Rope.
