The adaptor's tapered design allows for a snug fit inside the clay liner, which is often not perfectly symmetrical. Use fire cement and fire rope to create a secure seal around the clay liner, and secure the adaptor into the chamber using stainless steel screws to prevent corrosion. The single wall pipe can then be placed over the spigot of the adaptor, completing the installation with additional fire cement or fire rope for a perfect seal.
